A self-supported point-to-point along the crest of the Shawangunk Ridge, run in three distances that all finish at the restored Rosendale railroad trestle. The 70-miler traces the full Shawangunk Ridge Trail from High Point, New Jersey; the 30-miler starts at Sam’s Point; and the half starts in the Peter’s Kill area of Minnewaska.
There is no aid on course — no food, water, crews, pacers, drop bags or caches. Runners carry their own nutrition, filter water from streams and falls, and navigate by trail blazes and the race’s map app. See the course profile for the full section-by-section breakdown.
The 2026 edition ran September 11–12. The 2027 date has not been posted yet.
